The Indiana Citizen profiled Bailey’s record as Porter County Circuit Court Clerk, a post she has held since 2018 and for which she was named the Association of Indiana Counties’ Clerk of the Year in 2023. She modernized local elections — moving the county to vote centers and launching a “VoteMobile” — and now wants to scale that approach statewide. “As state comptroller, I will bring the same level of service and efficiency to the office as I do daily as Porter County Clerk,” Bailey said.
